7 ex fusiliers both Lancashire & Royal Regiment stayed here. We explored the whole D.Day area. We had a fantastic time. the Grange is wonderful. Peter & Sarah looked after our needs including taxi and arranging for a meal at the hotel. We will inform all our friends of the hospitality. thank you very much.

Gîte de très grande qualité et confortable! Nous sommes venus avec un groupe d'adultes handicapés qui ont trouvé la maison "très bien" et surtout très adaptée aux personnes à mobilité réduite (salle d'eau adaptée, 2 rampes à l'escalier, de l'espace dans les pièces de vie). Sarah et Peter ont été très serviables et attentifs au confort de leurs locataires tout en restant respectueux et discrets. Une adresse à recommander! A essayer d'urgence!!! Encore merci pour le soin apporté à nos vacanciers!!

The property was situated in a very good location for local shops, petrol station and a beautiful patisserie just a 2 minute walk away for your fresh bread and cakes etc. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners who were a lovely and very welcoming couple and were always on hand should you need them. The property was very clean and tidy with plenty of equipment and plenty of room inside and out and very safe and secure behind electric gates, ideal should you have young children. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit France and have a comfortable and welcoming experience. We will definitely return, thanks Sarah, Peter and Dana xx

We have had a wonderful holiday & have all enjoyed exploring the area. The gite is comfortable & very well equipped. We would have saved time & benefitted from more details of the immeadiate locality put in a seperate folder to the large box of pamphlets.
The boys have had numerous table tennis competitions & there is still an on going debate about who is champion.
We are already making plans for a return trip

In February 2010 I brought a group of Catering Students from the Isle of Wight College to study European Cuisine. Their challenge was to create a French menu, source the ingredients and cook the chosen dishes for La Grange, as they might in a "ski chalet" scenario. During our stay we also visited a goat cheese maker in the village, the Dairy Production factory in Isigny sur Mere, the Boulard Calvados distillery, and the Maison du Biscuit Nr Barnville Carteret. Sarah even arranged for us to visit the baker across the road, a unique experience. The group found the accommodation superb, spacious and comfortable. Sarah & Peter make great hosts & were invaluable in assisting me in organising a fantastic working tour.

We stayed at La Grange for a week in the autumn of 2009. The directions given by Sarah and Peter were exactly right and when we arrived we were stunned by the beauty of the location and especially the accommodation, which was excellent. Sarah and Peter went out of their way to make us welcome. There were 4 adults and 4 children staying there and there was ample space, facilities and equipment to accommodate us most comfortably. There was plenty of activities outside for the children to occupy themselves and the location for visiting the Normandy Beaches etc was perfect. We have booked again for 2010 and cant wait to go back. First class accommodation facilitated by first class hosts.'

My husband and I stayed in this converted barn in September and had a really lovely holiday. There was everything you could ever need in the property and it was extremely comfortable and very well maintained. It was really hot whilst we were there and the property was lovely and cool. The owners of the property have a house on the same land and as it is security gated, we felt very safe indeed. If you do not like church bells, this is not the place for you but we got used to them and found them pleasant anyway. There is a local supermarket about 5 minutes away which was very handy and there was some nice places to eat in the little town of Carentan, which is a few minutes away.
We only had the downstairs of the property but there were several bedrooms upstairs and a couple of bathrooms and would really be suitable for a large family.
Overall, my husband and I would stay at this property again without any hesitation and would thoroughly recommend it.
